Joshua M. Leavitt D.M.D., M.S.
As a father of 5 children, Dr. Leavitt has first-hand experience working with children and knows the fears and anxieties that many children have towards a dental visit. His personal goal is to help all children have a long term healthy relationship with a dentist throughout their lives. To accomplish this goal, it is important to have children feel as comfortable as possible in the dental setting.
Dr. Leavitt began his formal education at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas where he obtained his undergraduate and dental degrees. He received his certificate of specialized training in pediatric dentistry from The University of Toledo Medical Center. He also completed a masters degree in Oral Biology from the University of Toledo.
When not in the office, Dr. Leavitt enjoys following college basketball, attending his children's activities and being very active volunteering with his church.
Amanda K. Swanson D.D.S., M.S., M.P.H.
Through her training at The Ohio State University/Nationwide Children's Hospital, Dr. Swanson learned to treat children of all ages with skill and compassion. She aims to create a warm and comforting environment where patients and their families feel supported at every step. Dr. Swanson is committed to using the latest evidence-based recommendations to provide high-quality, individualized care that promotes positive dental experiences.
Dr. Swanson completed her undergraduate studies at Ohio Northern University, after which she obtained her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She then completed specialty training at The Ohio State University/Nationwide Children’s Hospital, earning her Master of Science (MS) in Pediatric Dentistry. She also obtained a Master of Public Health (MPH) with a focus on improving access to dental care for all children. Dr. Swanson currently maintains an adjunct role teaching dental residents at Nationwide Children’s Hospital, which allows her to stay current with the latest clinical techniques and technologies.
Outside of the office, you will find Dr. Swanson running with local Columbus run clubs, learning new culinary skills, and showing friends and family all there is to love about central Ohio. She has been an active competitor with her dogs at American Kennel Club (AKC) dog shows, where she also serves as a judge for youth handling competitions.
